The Extension is designed to be fully decentralized and private. We do not collect, store, or transmit any personally identifiable information (PII) to external servers. All data processing and storage happen locally on your device.

• Watermark Images: Any images you upload to be used as watermarks are stored locally in your browser's storage using the chrome.storage.local API. These images never leave your machine.
• Settings: Your preferences (size, opacity, position) for each website are stored locally on your device.
• Domain Information: The extension identifies the hostname of the current website to apply your specific watermark settings. This information is processed entirely within the extension and is not shared with us or any third party.

2. Permissions

The Extension requires the following permissions to function correctly:

• storage: Used to save your watermark images and settings on your computer.
• unlimitedStorage: Used to ensure that larger watermark images can be saved without browser-imposed limits.
• activeTab: Used purely to render the watermark on the website you are currently viewing. We do not "read" your browsing history or data on these pages beyond what is necessary to display the watermark.

3. Third-Party Services

The Extension does not use any third-party analytics, tracking services, or advertising networks. We do not share any data with third parties because we do not collect it in the first place.

4. Data Retention

Since all data is stored locally, you have full control over it. You can remove watermark images and settings at any time via the Extension's interface, or by uninstalling the Extension, which will clear all associated local storage.

5. Changes to This Policy
